Community

I am involved in both the national and international academic community for Computer and Web Science. As part of this I have organised many workshops and events, and served many times on Program and Organising Committees.

Roles

I am the current Chair of the ACM Hypertext Steering Committee, and was the Vice-Chair of SIGWEB (2015-2019), the ACM Special Interest Group on the Web – which sponsors and co-sponsers a number of key conferences in the field, including Hypertext, Web Science, and UMAP.
